Web Services - Usage Agreement

By using the web services from Price-Compare.Net you agree to the following terms and conditions:
Data Reliability / Warranty:
Information about prices and products is provided by third parties and is for informational purposes only. Price-Compare.Net does not represent or warrant the accuracy or reliability of the information, and will not be liable for any errors, omissions, or delays in this information or any losses, injuries, or damages arising from its display or use.
Web Service Reliability / Availability:
Price-Compare.Net does not provide any guarantee as to the reliability or availability of these web services and will not be liable for any losses, injuries, or damages that could arise if the web services become unreliable, unavailable, or are discontinued. Price-Compare.Net also may discontinue the web services at any time.
Revenue Sharing:
Price-Compare.Net is allowed to withhold a percentage of any commissions earned or randomly substitute your network/affiliate id with one of its own. The withholding amount and method of substitution can be changed after providing you with a 30 day notice via email or by posting a notice of change here. The current rates are:
Date: Oct 1, 2005. Withholding Rate: 20%. Click Substitution Method: Each of your user clicks will generate a random number between 1 and 5. If the number generated is 1 then a substitution will occur.
Usage of Links:
Price-Compare.Net provides links to products in the web services. These links may direct your customer to a site where the product can be found or to the Price-Compare.Net website. Some links may carry a timeout value to prevent data from being cached. Links can otherwise be formatted accordingly to fit the look and feel of your site.
Program Compliance:
It is your responsibility to maintain compliance with other data providers and with our merchants. For example, if you use Amazon.com web services to show product prices you may be required to show their Used Price (when available) when using price comparison data. Also, you agree that our data will not be displayed on any objectional sites or placed within content that is objectional.
General Usage:
You agree that you will not make excessive calls to our web services (i.e. more than 1 call per second). You agree that you will only use the web services in a manner as outlined above. Price-Compare.Net may terminate and/or disable your usage of the web services should any of the terms of this Usage Agreement be violated.
